Reeds Hair

In the light of the current situation with COVID-19 and after much deliberation we have taken the very difficult decision to temporarily close all of our salons with immediate effect. Our main priority has always been the health of both our staff and our valued clients. We will reopen as soon as we possibly can and will be posting regular updates on all of our social media platforms. We want to take this opportunity to thank our fantastic staff and all our clients for how loyal, brave and supportive you have all been over the past few weeks, which have been very difficult for all of us. Rest assured, we will be doing all that we can to support everyone and all of the staff can’t wait to be welcoming everyone back into our salons as soon as possible. If you have any questions or queries, please email or contact us on here. Stay safe. The Reeds Hair team

Please don’t enter if you have:

  • a high temperature
  • a new continuous cough

This is to keep our staff and customers safe. Thank you. Please, where possible, avoid using cash and pay by contactless or card.

Retail workers can’t stay at home. So please when you come shopping don’t bring the kids where possible. Try to come in one person per family, keep your distance and be nice. This will protect us and you. We are risking our health so you can have food and essentials during this difficult time.

Free delivery service for elderly and vulnerable residents: phone 832 202. Delivery 10am to 2pm, extended if required. Payments can be made by cash or bank transfers, or phone with a bank card – you don’t need to be online.

Where possible some basic items such as pasta, toilet rolls and hand wash will be held back for the people most at risk. We provide a daily newspaper delivery service, and are happy to help through this crisis.

Sweet Tea

Once I was told to close as a cafe and informed we were allowed to operate as a takeaway/delivery service, that’s the route I went down to try and stay open. However, it wasn’t financially beneficial to keep my staff at work. When the prime minister’s announcement was made on Monday evening I made the decision that I would close. But I can’t thank everyone enough for their support and sorry to let customers down. I hope to be open very soon (as do all other businesses).

Temporary opening hours:

Monday to Saturday 7am to 8pm

Sunday 10am to 4pm

We support social distancing. Government advice is to maintain a distance of two metres (six feet) between us. To help us do this at busy times we are limiting the number of customers that enter our store. When we are doing this, we will have a one in, one out policy.

[… ] We have also placed a temporary limit of three items on certain products to help maintain stock levels. We are asking our customers to be considerate to others at this uncertain time and to only buy what you and your family need. If we all do this then we can make sure we have enough for everyone.
